NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Oct. 11, 2007--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that its preliminary rating on Darden Restaurants Inc.'s Oct. 9 Rule 415 senior unsecured shelf filing was corrected to 'BBB+' after an administrative error was discovered. (Some rating feeds made the action appear to be an upgrade, but it was not intended as such.) The correction does not reflect any change in the company's credit fundamentals.
