MILAN (Standard&Poor's) Jan. 13, 2012--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today said it lowered its long-term subordinated debt rating on the €60 billion medium-term note program of Italian bank UniCredit SpA (UniCredit; A/Watch Neg/A-1) to 'BBB+' from 'A-'. The subordinated debt rating on the $10 billion medium-term note program issued by subsidiary UniCredit Luxembourg Finance S.A. and guaranteed by UniCredit SpA was also lowered to 'BBB+' from 'A-'. Both ratings remain on CreditWatch with negative implications, where they were placed on Dec. 7, 2011.
