Abstract:

NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) July 31, 2009--Standard&Poor's Rating Services has corrected and raised its underlying rating (SPUR) on Philadelphia, Pa.'s series 2007A and 2007B water and sewer revenue bonds maturing Nov. 1, 2020, Aug. 1, 2021, and Nov. 1, 2022 to A/Stable from A-/Stable. Due to an administrative error, the aforementioned maturities were inadvertently not included in our Aug. 13, 2008, rating action when we raised the SPUR on other water and sewer revenue bonds (Please see "Philadelphia, PA's Water/Sewer Bond Rating Raised To 'A' On Stable Financial Performance," published on Aug. 13, 2008, on RatingsDirect.) The A/Stable rating reflects the security provided by the water and wastewater system revenues.
