(Editor's Note: The press release published Feb. 18, 2003, misstated three rating changes. Ratings on Continental Airlines Inc. pass-through certificates, series 2000-2A-1 were lowered to 'A' from 'A+' and removed from CreditWatch; American Airlines Inc. pass-through certificates series 2001-1B were lowered to 'BB+' from 'BBB' and remain on CreditWatch; US Airways pass-through certificates series 1999-1B are 'BBB-' and remain on CreditWatch. A corrected version follows.) NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Feb. 18, 2003-- Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today it lowered its ratings on selected aircraft-backed debt of 11 U.S. airlines (see list). The revised ratings and ratings that were affirmed were removed from CreditWatch in most, but not all, cases. Corporate credit ratings and other, nonaircraft-backed debt ratings
