NY -- Standard&Poor's CreditWire 6/11/97 -- Following the change in the name of Banque Indosuez S.A. to Credit Agricole Indosuez S.A., Standard&Poor's today has affirmed all credit ratings of Credit Agricole Indosuez and related entities (see list below). In a related rating action, Standard&Poor's has withdrawn the double-'A'/'A-1'-plus ratings of Unicredit, following the absorption of Unicredit into Credit Agricole Indosuez. Unicredit ceased to exist on May 20, 1997.
