London -- Standard&Poor's CreditWire 12/19/97 -- Standard&Poor's today upgraded Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken's (S-E-Banken) long-term ratings to single-'A' from single-'A'-minus and its short-term ratings to 'A-1' from 'A-2'. The outlook for the long-term ratings is stable. At the same time, Standard&Poor's has lowered the claims-paying ability and counterparty credit ratings of Trygg-Hansa Insurance Co. Ltd. (Trygg-Hansa) to single-'A' from single-'A'-plus. The outlook for the counterparty credit rating is stable. Additionally, the Swedish short-term commercial paper rating of 'K-1' for Trygg-Hansa AB was affirmed. All ratings have been removed from CreditWatch. See below for complete list of rating changes.
