S&P Global Ratings revised the outlook to negative from stable and affirmed its'A+'rating on Weathersfield Local School District , Ohio's outstanding general obligation (GO) bonds. The rating based on state credit enhancement is ‘AA+’. The outlook remains stable. The outlook revision reflects the district's deficit in fiscal 2025 and projected deficits in the near term that could pressure reserves. A pledge of the district's full faith, credit, and resources, along with an agreement to levy ad valorem property taxes, without limit as to rate or amount, secure the GO bonds.
