Credit measures for U.S.-based VF Corp. have strengthened as a result of lower debt and good profitability. We are raising our corporate credit rating on VF Corp. to 'A' from 'A-' and our short-term rating to 'A-1' from 'A-2'. The stable outlook reflects our expectation for credit measures to remain strong as the company's well diversified operating platform and good market positions continue to support solid operating performance. On April 11, 2014, Standard&Poor's Rating Services raised its corporate credit rating on Greensboro, N.C.-based VF Corp. to 'A' from 'A-'.
