The financial condition of the UnitedHeath group of companies has strengthened, and the risk of significant downside operational development has diminished. As a result, we have revised the outlook on these companies to stable from negative. In addition, we have affirmed our 'A-' counterparty credit rating on UnitedHealth Group Inc. and the counterparty credit and financial strength ratings on its core and strategically important subsidiaries. On Aug. 30, 2010, Standard&Poor's Ratings Services revised its outlook on UnitedHealth Group Inc. (NYSE:UNH) and UnitedHealth's subsidiaries to stable from negative.
