We are revising our outlook on UnitedHealth to positive from stable and affirming our ratings on it and its core operating companies. The positive outlook reflects our expectation that UnitedHealth will preserve and enhance its leading market positions and pricing flexibility. On Oct. 10, 2013, Standard&Poor's Ratings Services revised its outlook on UnitedHealth Group Inc. (NYSE:UNH) to positive from stable and affirmed its 'A' long-term counterparty credit rating on the company.
