We reviewed our ratings on UnitedHealth Group Inc. (UNH) and its core insurance subsidiaries under our revised criteria. We are affirming all of our ratings on the group. The stable outlook reflects our expectations for UNH to generate strong operating results in 2019-2020. On July 23, 2019, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'A+/A-1' issuer credit rating on UnitedHealth Group Inc. (UNH). The outlook is stable. We also affirmed our 'AA-' long-term issuer credit and financial strength ratings on UNH's core insurance subsidiaries (see ratings list). UNH's key rating strengths include its unmatched scale and business diversity in the U.S. managed care and health care services sectors, as well as its unique strategic and medical/operating cost advantages from its UnitedHealthcare (UHC)
