Multinational food services provider Compass Group PLC is likely to continue to show credit metrics below our threshold for a modest financial risk profile assessment. However, Compass sustains significantly higher cash generation than similar-size peer companies. Therefore, we are including a positive comparable ratings adjustment of one notch. We are therefore affirming the 'A' rating on Compass. The stable outlook reflects our expectation that the group will continue its solid operating performance and maintain adjusted FFO to debt above 40%.
