We expect the Swedish Municipality of Trelleborg's operating performance metrics will remain robust through 2024, despite geopolitical tensions and uncertainty regarding economic developments. Nevertheless, we project substantial deficits after capital accounts and gradual debt buildup due to high investment needs as the City of Trelleborg will expand and reconnect with the Baltic Sea through the Coastal City 2025 project. We assigned our 'AA+' long-term and 'A-1+' short-term ratings to the municipality. The outlook is stable.
