Weak operating performance at U.S. wireless carrier Sprint Nextel Corp. has led to deteriorating credit measures. We are placing our 'BB' rating for the company on CreditWatch with negative implications. The CreditWatch listing reflects the potential for a one-notch rating downgrade if the company does not show prospects of improving credit measures in 2010.
