We are assigning our 'A/A-1' ratings to Raiffeisen Bank International AG and affirming the 'A/A-1' ratings on its parent, Raiffeisen Zentralbank Oesterreich. We consider both banks to be "core" entities of the Austria-based Raiffeisen Banking Group (RBG) and of high systemic importance to the Republic of Austria. The ratings incorporate two notches of uplift above their respective stand-alone credit profiles. The negative outlook reflects uncertainties about the banks' capital generation capacity.
