S&P Global Ratings assigned its ?AA-? issuer credit rating (ICR) to Monroe Village , N.Y. S&P Global Ratings assigned its ?SP-1+? short-term rating to the village?s $5.6 million series 2025 bond anticipation notes (BANs). The outlook, where applicable, is stable. An ICR reflects the obligor's general creditworthiness. There is no rated debt associated with this rating. The village?s faith-and-credit pledge secures its BANs. The short-term rating reflects our long-term rating on the village and its low market-risk profile. In our view, and pursuant to our BANs criteria, we have assessed Monroe's market risk as low due to its strong market access, information availability, and takeout authorization. Officials intend to use the series 2025 BAN proceeds to roll over existing BANs
