Ion Investment Corp., the parent company of Ion Trading Technologies Ltd. (Ion Markets), Ion Corporates Solutions Finance Ltd. (Ion Corporates), and I-Logic Technologies Bidco Ltd. (Ion Analytics), is pursuing a merger of these entities to form a new company, which it will name Ion Platform Investment Group Ltd. (Ion Platform). We expect the consolidation will create a stronger software, data, and intelligence company that will enhance the overall group's creditworthiness, which could lead to a one-notch group support uplift to our ratings on Ion Markets. We therefore placed our ?B-? ratings on Ion Markets on CreditWatch with positive implications.
