We consider German air traffic controller DFS as a government-related entity under our criteria and assess the likelihood of German government support to DFS, if needed, as "almost certain." We are affirming our 'AAA' corporate credit rating on DFS. We assess DFS' stand-alone credit profile at 'A' reflecting an excellent business risk profile and an intermediate financial risk profile. The outlook is stable, reflecting the outlook on the Federal Republic of Germany. On Jan. 18, 2010, Standard&Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'AAA/A-1+' long- and short-term corporate credit ratings on German air traffic controller DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH (DFS). The outlook is stable. In accordance with our criteria for government-related entities, we consider DFS as a government-related entity (GRE).
