(GM) and its subsidiary General Motors Financial Co. Inc. (GMF) to positive from stable and are affirming our 'BBB-' ratings on both companies. The positive outlook reflects the increased likelihood that we could upgrade GM within the next 12 months given its improved track record of operational execution and very strong credit metrics, albeit amidst generally favorable industry conditions.
