S&P Global Ratings assigned its ?AAA? long-term program and 'AA-? underlying rating to Fort Stockton Independent School District , Texas' approximately $47.72 million series 2025 unlimited-tax school building bonds. S&P Global Ratings also affirmed its 'AA-' rating on the district's existing general obligation (GO) bonds. The outlook is stable. The series 2025 bonds and outstanding unlimited-tax bonds are secured by an unlimited ad valorem tax pledge levied on all taxable property within the district. The district?s series 2024 notes are secured by a tax levied in the district for maintenance purposes; the tax is limited by law to its operating maintenance levy. We make no rating distinction between the district's unlimited- and limited-tax debt because the taxing base is coterminous
