On April 29, 2008, Standard&Poor's Ratings Services revised its outlook on Consolidated Container Co. LLC to stable from positive. At the same time, we affirmed our ratings on the company, including the 'B-' long-term corporate credit rating (see list below). The outlook revision reflects the company's weaker-than-expected earnings performance and higher-than-expected debt leverage, both of which reduce the likelihood of an upgrade over the near term. We expect the company's operating results in 2008 to remain pressured by weaker demand in dairy, beverage, and food categories as consumer spending is squeezed by higher energy costs, higher food prices, and, to a certain extent, home-mortgage-related costs.
