S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA+' rating to Clay County School District No. 74 (North Kansas City) , Mo.'s roughly $100 million series 2025 general obligation (GO) bonds. The outlook is stable. Participation in the Missouri Direct Deposit of State Aid program secures the bonds. On April 8, 2025 voters approved the issuance of $100 million in bond proceeds for the purpose of acquiring land and new buildings to construct and refurbish school infrastructure, purchase vehicles, and renovating existing facilities.
