On Aug. 23, 2022, Carestream Health Inc. filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. S&P Global Ratings lowered its issuer credit rating on Carestream Health to 'D' (default) from 'CC'. At the same time, we lowered all of our ratings on the company's debt to 'D'. We plan to review our ratings once new credit facilities are issued, which we expect following the conclusion of the Chapter 11 hearing process over the next few weeks.
