On Nov. 15, 2023, we published our revised criteria for analyzing insurers' risk-based capital (see "Insurer Risk-Based Capital Adequacy--Methodology And Assumptions"). Implementing the revised capital model criteria has not affected our view of the financial strength of CNA Financial Corp. We affirmed our 'A+' long-term financial strength and issuer credit ratings on CNA's core subsidiaries and our 'A-' issuer credit rating on holding company CNA Financial Corp. The stable outlook reflects our expectation that CNA will maintain underwriting profitability with a combined ratio in the mid-90s, orderly run-off of the long-term care (LTC) business, and excellent capitalization. On April 26, 2024, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'A-' issuer credit rating on CNA Financial Corp. and its 'A+' financial strength and
