The ratings reflect on Guatemala-based bank, Banco G&TC, its solid business stability, concentration in the corporate segment, and high dollarization in its loan portfolio. We are affirming our 'BB' long-term and 'B' short-term issuer credit ratings on the bank. We expect BG&T to remain one of the largest banks in the country. We also expect it to diversify its loan portfolio during the next two years, while maintaining its projected risk-adjusted capital at above 5% and manageable credit losses. Ratings on Banco G&TC will move in tandem with those of the sovereign because the bank's stand-alone credit profile is one notch above sovereign rating.
