We are affirming our 'BBB-' corporate credit rating on AutoNation Inc. At the same time, we are assigning our 'A-3' short-term rating to the company's commercial paper program. The stable outlook reflects our view that AutoNation's resilient business model and moderate financial policies, combined with stable growth in the U.S. retail auto markets, will allow the company to sustain its credit measures over the next two years.
