Austrian Bank HYPO Vorarlberg has a domestic focus, moderate business position, adequate capital and earnings, adequate risk position, average funding, and adequate liquidity position, in our view. We consider the bank to be a government-related entity with a moderately high likelihood of extraordinary support from the State of Vorarlberg. We are assigning our 'A-/A-2' ratings to HYPO Vorarlberg. The stable outlook reflects our expectation that HYPO Vorarlberg will continue to benefit from government support from Vorarlberg and will sustain its current stand-alone credit profile.
