DUBAI (S&P Global Ratings) Aug. 4, 2016--S&P Global Ratings said today that it had assigned its 'B-' issue rating to the senior unsecured bond to be issued by the Republic of Ghana (B-/Stable/B). The amount and interest rate, among other details of the bond, will be determined during the placement. We understand that Ghana will use the net proceeds of the senior unsecured bond to buy back outstanding debt and fund capital investments.
