TOKYO (Standard&Poor's) Jan. 21, 2005-- Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today raised its ratings on four of Japan's major integrated electronics companies and their related entities: Fujitsu Ltd. to 'BBB-' from 'BB+'; Mitsubishi Electric Corp. to 'BBB+/A-2' from 'BBB/A-2'; Oki Electric Industry Co. Ltd. to 'BB-' from 'B+'; and Toshiba Corp. to 'BBB/A-2' from 'BBB-/A-3'. The outlooks on the ratings are stable. At the same time, Standard&Poor's raised its ratings on the senior unsecured debt issued by: Fujitsu to 'BBB' from 'BBB-', Mitsubishi Electric to 'BBB+' from 'BBB', Oki Electric to 'BB' from 'BB-', and Toshiba to 'BBB' from 'BBB-' (see list below).
