LONDON (Standard&Poor's CreditWire) April 3, 2000--Standard&Poor's today revised its long-term issuer credit ratings on National Bank of Greece S.A. (NBG), Alpha Credit Bank A.E. (Alpha), to triple-'B'-plus from triple-'B'. At the same time, Standard&Poor's raised its long-term issuer credit rating on EFG Eurobank S.A. (Eurobank) to triple-'B' from triple-'B'-minus, as well as raising its short-term rating to 'A-2' from 'A-3' on the bank.
