NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) April 22, 2015--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today affirmed its ratings on three letter of credit (LOC)-supported bond issues related to Duke Energy Indiana Inc. (see list). Today's rating actions reflect the April 2, 2015, raising of our long-term issuer credit rating on Duke Energy Indiana Inc. to 'A-' from 'BBB+' and affirmation of our 'A-2' short-term issuer credit rating. The long- and short-term components of our rating on Indiana Finance Authority' s series 2009A-3 bonds are based on our long- and short-term issuer credit ratings on, as well as the joint support provided by, Mizuho Corporate Bank Ltd. ('A+/A-1'), the LOC provider, and Duke Energy Indiana Inc. ('A-/A-2'), the obligor, assuming a low correlation
