TOKYO (S&P Global Ratings) Feb. 28, 2018--S&P Global Ratings today said TEPCO Fuel&Power Inc.'s (TEPCO Fuel&Power) and Chubu Electric Power Co. Inc.'s agreement on planned integration of their fuel receiving and storage, gas transportation businesses, and existing thermal power generation businesses signals progress in full integration of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc.'s (TEPCO Holdings; BB/Stable/B) and Chubu Electric's fuel and thermal power generation businesses. In the agreement, announced on Feb. 27, 2018, TEPCO Fuel&Power and Chubu Electric set out the scope of assets and schedule of the planned integration into JERA Co.
