...August 31, 2021 CHICAGO (S&P Global Ratings) Aug. 31, 2021--S&P Global Ratings assigned its '##-' long-term rating to Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH), Wash.'s $779.045 million series 2021A taxable fixed-rate bonds. S&P Global Ratings also assigned its '##-' long-term rating to the Washington Health Care Facilities Authority's $227.355 million series 2021B tax-exempt bonds issued for PSJH. The series 2021 transaction will also include series 2021C bonds, which we expect to rate in the coming weeks. Proceeds from the series 2021AB bonds will refund a portion of PSJH's existing debt (approximately $700 million) and fund various projects across the system (approximately $300 million). S&P Global Ratings has withdrawn its '##-/A-1+' dual rating on PSJH's series 2012C, 2012D, and 2012E bonds. These bonds were repaid in July 2021 using a revolving line of credit, which will be repaid following the issuance of the series 2021 bonds.
