Abstract:

TOKYO (Standard&Poor's) Nov. 12, 2007--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today revised the outlook on its long-term corporate credit rating on Korea-based SK Energy Co. Ltd. to positive from stable on expectations that the company's operating cash flow, revenue diversification, and corporate governance should continue to improve. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed its 'BBB-' long-term corporate credit and senior unsecured debt ratings on the company. The revision to the outlook on the ratings is based on Standard&Poor's expectations that the company's overall financial risk profile should improve following the full-scale revamp of SK Incheon Oil Co. Ltd. and the increase in cash flow from SK Energy's exploration and production (E&P) business, as well as
