Outlook On ING Life Japan To Stable Following NN Group Upgrades; Ratings Affirmed At 'A-'

On Feb. 18, 2015, we raised the ratings on the core operating entities of NN Group N.V. (NN Group) following a review of the insulation of the group from ING Groep N.V. (ING). We believe that NN Group now meets our criteria for an insulated subsidiary and has the potential to be rated up to two notches above ING. Following the above rating action, we are revising the outlook on ING Life Japan back to stable from negative. At the same time, we are affirming our 'A-' ratings on the company.
