One Rating Raised, Four Ratings Affirmed On Vermont Student Assistance Corp. Series 2010A-1

OVERVIEW Vermont Student Assistant Corp.'s (VSAC's) series 2010A-1 is backed by a pool of private student loans originated under VSAC's fixed-rate loan program. We raised our rating on one bond to 'AAA (sf)' to reflect its near-term maturity and the cash on deposit available for redemption. At the same time, we affirmed our 'A (sf)' ratings on four bonds to reflect our view that the current credit enhancement levels are sufficient to support the ratings.
