OVERVIEW In our view, economic risks for banks in Slovenia are diminishing on the back of stronger economic growth prospects that will likely support asset quality. We are affirming our 'BB-/B' ratings on Slovenia-based Nova Ljubljanska Banka D.D. (NLB). The negative outlook on NLB indicates that we could lower the ratings if the predictability of government support reduces when the EU's bank resolution directive takes effect in 2016. Our 'A-/A-2' ratings on state-owned SID Bank are unchanged, with the positive outlook continuing to mirror that on the sovereign. LONDON (Standard&Poor's) July 28, 2015--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that it had affirmed its 'BB-' long-term and 'B' short-term counterparty credit ratings on Slovenia-based Nova Ljubljanska Banka D.D.
