FRANKFURT (Standard&Poor's) Oct. 2, 2007--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today it affirmed its 'A' long-term and 'A-1' short-term corporate credit ratings on Finland-based mobile telecommunications equipment manufacturer Nokia Corp., following the group's announcement that it has reached an agreement to acquire U.S.-based NAVTEQ Corp, a leading global supplier of comprehensive digital map information. The outlook is stable. "The affirmation reflects our opinion that, although the offer to pay $78 in cash for each share of NAVTEQ, which equates to an aggregate price of about $8.1 billion (€5.7 billion), is somewhat aggressive, the group's very robust financial profile and the strong free cash flow generation of its handset business continue to support the current ratings," said Standard&
