SAN FRANCISCO (S&P Global Ratings) March 1, 2023--S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA+' rating to New York City Municipal Water Finance Authority's anticipated $1.2 billion 2023 series DD water and sewer system second general resolution revenue bonds, issued on behalf of New York Water. The outlook, where applicable, is stable. "The rating reflects our view of New York Water's broad, diverse, and affluent service area as well as the sophisticated management team that supports its highly complex operating profile and capital plan," said S&P Global Ratings credit analyst Jenny Poree.
