National Bank of Canada 2028 Notes Rating Corrected To 'A+' From 'A-'

TORONTO (S&P Global Ratings) May 1, 2026--S&P Global Ratings has corrected by raising its rating on National Bank of Canada's (NBC) senior unsecured notes, due May 4, 2028, to 'A+' from 'A-'. The notes, which are not bail-inable obligations of NBC, were originally rated as bail-inable obligations. The corrected rating reflects updated documentation associated with the issue that removed a bail-in provision.
