LONDON (Standard&Poor's) July 26, 2006--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today it lowered its long-term corporate credit rating on The Netherlands-based global steel group Mittal Steel Co N.V. to 'BBB' from 'BBB+', and removed the rating from CreditWatch with negative implications. At the same time, the 'BBB' long-term corporate credit ratings on Luxembourg-based steelmaker Arcelor S.A. and its subsidiary Dofasco Inc. were affirmed and removed from CreditWatch with developing implications. The outlooks on all three entities are now stable. At the same time, the 'A-2' short-term corporate credit rating on Arcelor was affirmed and removed from CreditWatch with negative implications.
