SAN FRANCISCO (S&P Global Ratings) Jan. 25, 2019--S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'A' long-term rating to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), N.Y.'s proposed estimated $462.8 million series 2019A transportation revenue bonds (TRBs; Climate Bond Certified), consisting of $200 million subseries 2019A-1 (Mandatory Tender Bonds), $162.8 million subseries 2019A-2 (fixed rate), and $100 million subseries 2019A-3 (fixed rate). At the same time, S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'SP-1' short-term rating to the MTA's proposed $750 million series 2019A transportation revenue bond anticipation notes (BANs). Finally, S&P Global Ratings affirmed the following ratings: 'A' issuer credit rating (ICR) and 'a' stand-alone credit profile (SACP) on the MTA 'A' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the MTA's previously issued TRBs 'AA/A-1' and
