...October 10, 2019 SAN FRANCISCO (S&P Global Ratings) Oct. 10, 2019--S&P Global Ratings assigned its '##' long-term rating to the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency's (MassHousing) 2019 series B-1, B-2, B-3, B-4 (collectively, the series B bonds), and C housing bonds. At the same time, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its '##' long-term rating and various dual ratings on MassHousing's housing bonds outstanding. The outlook is stable where applicable. "The ratings reflect our view of MassHousing's very strong enterprise profile, extremely strong financial profile, and conservative investment and derivative policies," said S&P Global Ratings credit analyst Aulii Limtiaco. The bond proceeds will be used to provide permanent financing for certain multifamily residential developments and provide money to defease and redeem two prior series of MassHousing's multifamily housing bonds outstanding issued under the resolution.
