Standard&Poor's Ratings Services has affirmed its 'AA' long-term rating on Massachusetts Development Finance Agency's series M revenue bonds, its 'AAA/A-1+' long- and short-term ratings on the series N-1 (2010), N-2 (2010), and the 'AAA/A-1' long- and short-term ratings on series N-3 (2010) and N-4 (2010) revenue bonds, all issued for Children's Hospital of Boston (Children's). The outlook is stable. The 'AA' rating reflects our view of Children's solid balance sheet for the rating level, coupled with interim operating results that are ahead of budget and the prior year, and a business position that we believe will allow it to continue to post solid operating profitability and maintain balance sheet strength in future years.
