KELAG's MTN Program 'A' Rating Affirmed, Then Withdrawn At The Issuer's Request

FRANKFURT (S&P Global Ratings) Aug. 31, 2017--S&P Global Ratings today said it has affirmed its 'A' rating on the €500 million senior unsecured medium-term note (MTN) program dated Sept. 7, 2012, issued by Austrian utility KELAG (A/Stable/--). We subsequently withdrew the rating on the program at the company's request. It is our understanding that the issuer does not intend to issue under the program anymore. The withdrawal does not affect the rating of outstanding issuances under the program or our issuer credit rating on KELAG.
