KASIKORNBANK PCL's U.S. Dollar Senior Unsecured Notes Assigned 'BBB+' Ratings

SINGAPORE (S&P Global Ratings) Jan. 9, 2018--S&P Global Ratings today assigned its 'BBB+' long-term issue rating to a proposed issue of U.S.-dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes by KASIKORNBANK PCL (KBank: BBB+/Stable/A-2). KBank is issuing the notes under its US$2.5 billion Euro medium-term notes program. The rating on these notes reflects the long-term issuer credit rating on KBank. The notes will constitute direct, unconditional, unsecured, and unsubordinated obligations of KBank. They will rank equally with all other unsecured obligations of the bank, except for statutorily preferred obligations.
