Jefferson County C-1 School District (Windsor), MO GO Refunding Bonds Assigned 'A+' Rating

CENTENNIAL (S&P Global Ratings) Dec. 3, 2019--S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'A+' underlying rating Jefferson County C-1 School District (Windsor), Mo.'s series 2019 general obligation (GO) refunding bonds. The outlook is stable. Proceeds from the series 2019 bonds will be used to refund a portion of the district's outstanding debt for interest cost savings. "The 'A+' underlying rating reflects our view of the district's stable economic base benefiting from access to the broad and diverse St. Louis economy, maintenance of strong reserves, and low-to-moderate debt burden," said S&P Global Ratings credit analyst Katelyn Kerley. The stable outlook reflects our expectation that the district will maintain stable operations and strong reserves.
