About This Report

Abstract:

Japan-based retail group Seven&i's operating performance is gradually improving, especially that of its convenience store businesses both overseas and in Japan. Its robust operating performance and conservative financial management will help gradually improve key financial ratios to levels commensurate with the current rating, after having worsened owing to its 2018 acquisition of a U.S. convenience store business. We are revising to stable from negative our rating outlooks on Seven&i, Seven-Eleven Japan, and 7-Eleven, and are affirming our ratings on the companies. TOKYO (S&P Global Ratings) Jan. 17, 2019--S&P Global Ratings today said it has revised to stable from negative its outlook on the long-term issuer credit ratings on Japan-based retail group Seven&i Holdings Co.
