...August 2, 2021 NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) Aug. 2, 2021--S&P Global Ratings today assigned its 'A' issue-level rating to Charlotte, N.C.-based Honeywell International Inc.'s proposed 2027 and 2031 senior unsecured notes. Honeywell intends to use the proceeds from these notes primarily to repay its existing callable notes due 2022. If there are any remaining net proceeds, we would expect the company to use them for general corporate purposes. All of our existing ratings on Honeywell, including our 'A' long-term issuer credit rating and stable outlook, remain unchanged. The industrial conglomerate's business strength is underpinned by its broad operational scale and strong market positions in a set of core end markets; its good organic growth, particularly through investments in software, technology, and new product development; its rigorous operational processes, which yield continuous improvement; and its robust cash flow generation.
