NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) Feb. 26, 2024--S&P Global Ratings today assigned its 'A' issue-level rating to Charlotte, N.C.-based Honeywell International Inc.'s proposed euro- and dollar-denominated senior notes. The company intends to use the proceeds from these offerings to repay its existing debt, finance potential acquisitions or business expansion opportunities, and for general corporate purposes. All of our existing ratings on Honeywell, including our 'A' long-term issuer credit rating, are unchanged. Our ratings reflect the company's broad operational scale, strong market positions in its core end markets, and healthy backlog, which will likely support a good increase in its organic revenue relative to its peers, particularly for its long-cycle products.
